It is Jan 10, seee it says so right there on the left…I have lost track of the actual number of days, so whatever day the blog says, then there you have it. Anyway, I guess I am just tired right now. It was a long day, but a good day. Everything with the job is going well. I actually got to go to Hawally (Hawalli sp?), about 10 minutes from our job site to buy some computer parts. This little town is amazing. Imagine all your favorite stores, but multiplied by 10, and all in one spot. It was like a flea market on steroids. They had two full blocks of computer shops, then two full blocks of electronics stores, then two full blocks of X, Y, Z, you name it…All the similar stores were grouped together, and they actually had name brand stuff, brand new, and the same latest models of items we would buy in stores where we live in the states. Anyway, I was enthralled, and I think I am taking a cab back there on my next day off.
So, the job is going well, things are starting to fall into place all at once. It looks as though I will be home on time as scheduled in a couple weeks. I really miss my family, but at least I get to see them on Skype every day
