Ok, so it’s 2008, and I guess I missed the internet/blogging boat a long time ago, but what the heck. I wanted to start a site/blog that focused on my interests, but also shared something of value with readers. Hmm, that’s pretty much the definition of a “blog”, so probably a dumb thing to say. Anyway, I had the webspace, and WordPress installed under Fantastico so I thought I would take advantage of the easy to use blogging interface. So, I might jabber on about Seinfeld, Mad Libs, Premiere Pro, or Mystery Science Theater 3000 while eating Spaghettios at 3am…but that’s only on rare occasions like weekdays and every other weekend.
I’m going to try and find some screen capturing software that can record uncompressed files that I can then convert to FLV’s to stream from here. I think I will use Camtasia Studio’s screen recording software, the the Flash Encoder that comes with Flash CS3 to make an streaming FLV. I was originally going to make a site 100% identical to the After Effects tutorial site http://www.videocopilot.net/, but for Premiere Pro, but then I thought, I wanna make it about more than just that, so the idea went from “site” to “blog”.
